Marcy
An internal reporting tool that consolidates Google Ads performance data for the Podiums Direct marketing team.
Marcy is software built and operated by Podiums Direct for its own use. It connects to the Google Ads accounts that Podiums Direct owns and manages, retrieves campaign performance data through the Google Ads API, and turns that data into the daily and weekly reports our marketing team relies on to manage advertising spend.
Marcy is not a commercial product. It is not offered for sale, it is not available for public sign-up, and it does not manage advertising accounts belonging to anyone outside our organization. Access is limited to authorized Podiums Direct employees and contractors.
What Marcy does
- Consolidates reporting. Pulls campaign, ad group, keyword, and conversion metrics from our Google Ads accounts into a single view, so the team does not have to compile figures account by account.
- Tracks performance over time. Stores historical metrics so spend, cost per acquisition, and conversion trends can be compared week over week and month over month.
- Automates recurring reports. Generates scheduled summaries and distributes them internally, replacing manual spreadsheet exports.
- Flags budget anomalies. Highlights unusual changes in spend or performance so they can be reviewed promptly by the team responsible for the account.
How it uses the Google Ads API
Marcy uses the Google Ads API in read-only fashion for reporting purposes. An authorized Podiums Direct employee grants access through Google's standard OAuth consent flow, and Marcy uses the resulting credentials solely to retrieve reporting data from Google Ads accounts under our control.
Scope of access
Marcy requests only the access it needs to generate reports. It does not create, edit, pause, or delete campaigns, ads, budgets, or bids, and it does not access Google Ads accounts other than those belonging to Podiums Direct. Data retrieved through the API is used only to produce internal reporting and is never sold, transferred, or used for advertising or any other purpose.
